Learn Budget Analysis From People Who Actually Do It

We started teaching budget analysis in 2019 because our corporate training clients kept asking where they could send their teams for practical education. You won't find theory-heavy lectures here—just real methods we use every day with actual businesses across Australia.

Lead Instructor

I spent twelve years at Deloitte before realizing I preferred teaching people how to fish rather than just catching fish for them. Now I work with small businesses during the day and teach their competitors at night—which makes for interesting conversations.

Budget Systems Expert

After watching too many businesses fail because they couldn't read their own numbers, I developed a straightforward budget system that actually works for people who hate spreadsheets. I've taught over 300 business owners since 2020.

Teaching That Doesn't Waste Your Time

Most budget courses either oversimplify or overcomplicate. We found that sweet spot where you learn enough to be dangerous without needing an accounting degree.

Our students typically come from non-finance backgrounds. They're business owners, project managers, or department heads who suddenly need to understand budgets. We get it—numbers weren't your first love. But they don't have to be scary either.

Classes run from September through November 2025, with weekend intensives available for those who can't commit to weeknight sessions. Next intake starts September 13, 2025.

Real Company Data

We use sanitized financials from actual businesses—including some spectacular failures. You'll see what warning signs looked like before they became problems.

  • Case studies from retail, hospitality, and professional services
  • Monthly budget variances explained in plain language
  • Pattern recognition exercises with real consequences

Build Your Own System

By week three, you're working on your own business or department budget. We don't hand you templates—we help you build something that fits your specific situation.

  • Weekly one-on-one reviews of your progress
  • Customized forecasting models for your industry
  • Troubleshooting sessions when things don't add up

Small Group Sessions

Maximum eight students per cohort. This isn't a lecture hall situation where you can hide in the back. You'll need to show up and participate.

  • Direct access to instructors between sessions
  • Peer review of budget assumptions
  • Group problem-solving for complex scenarios

Practical Tools Only

We stick to Excel and Google Sheets. No expensive software, no proprietary platforms. Just the tools you already have sitting on your computer.

  • Formula libraries you can actually reuse
  • Dashboard templates that update automatically
  • Scenario planning models for growth decisions

What You'll Actually Walk Away With

After ten weeks, you'll have a working budget system for your business or department. Not a theoretical model—something you're already using because we built it together during the course.

  • Monthly budget templates customized to your revenue cycle
  • Variance analysis frameworks that flag problems early
  • Cash flow forecasting models that account for your payment terms
  • Scenario planning tools for growth or contraction decisions
  • Dashboard reports your team can understand without asking questions
